Baggage forms the part and parcel of your travel plan. You cannot even think of undertaking any travel without them.

The size and shape of your luggage is dependent upon the number of days you plan to spend during your travel, as also to the nature of your travel.

If you are on a business trip, then you need more formal dresses, which might result in your overall luggage becoming heavy. But, if are going on a vacation trip, you may prefer and can afford to wear casual garments.

If the luggage gets lost during travel, you can also report the same to the authorities, which would help them in identifying them as well. 

Put your name, addresses, phone numbers etc. inside as well outside the bags, while going on a travel. Even a copy of the ticket could be left inside, which would facilitate its return to you if lost somewhere.

Even having a photo of your bags is also important while going on a travel.

In case of loss, you can show the authorities the photo of them, which would help in tracing. It is also a wise idea to have the photo on your digital camera or mobile phone along with the label, which you can show to the authorities immediately in case of any loss.

While going on a travel trip, it is necessary that the locks of your luggage are secure enough.

It is better to have a list of all your packed belongings before setting out on a travel. This would help to account your entire luggage.

Certain essential commodities like the medicines, jewelleries and other valuables should be kept in your carry bag, as in case of any loss of them during travel, your basic day to day routine is not hampered enough and you do not stand to loss your expensive belongings.

This is precisely the reason why you should always keep your cash, credit cards, and the traveller’s cheque in your carry bags only.
