Shoe String Travel Can Be More Fun Than Ever (Part 2)

You are planning a vacation with your family - it is fun time. However, this is a time when you will find that money is simply melting from you pocket. Here you would find some great tips which would increase your fun and decrease your expenses.

Is it possible to have loads of fun on a shoe string budget? Yes, it is - check out the following tips and enjoy your tips to the fullest:

Plan your travel during off-time - same place, same attractions for less than half the price. Does it sound attractive? This is what you get when you travel during off-season.

The only thing you should know when you do so is what the weather conditions are during that time. Sometime is colder or it is hotter than the peak season; sometimes it means a lot of rain.

You can have a lot of fun no matter the weather conditions - if you are prepared for it.

Travel by road instead of by flight - traveling by road can give you some excellent insight about the areas you are passing through. Besides, you can have as fun during transit as you would have at the destination.

Carry a lot of dry food so you would not need to hunt for eating places on the road. Carry a grill or camping stove so you could use it when you stop for overnight stops. You cannot imagine the fun of eating a grilled meal under the open sky.

Sleep in tents in transit - do not go for a hotel, unless yu are warned that the area you are passing through is not safe (watch out for both people and animals) which would find out from the locals.

If you have children, make arrangements for them to sleep inside the car while you and your spouse or the rest of the adult in the group could sleep in tents outside. This would give you excellent rest and a great feeling of adventure.

Non-restaurant food - after the accommodation the greatest money drain is eating at restaurants. You need not fall into this trap. Once again use the locals to find out what are the most popular budget eateries the locals frequent.

In this way you would get a taste of the local cuisine at a fraction of the cost you would pay in a restaurant.

You could also look for foods that can be eaten without heating - salami, baloney, cheese, vegetables (tomato, cucumber, cabbage, etc) with which you could make some killer sandwiches at laughable costs.

Shop where local shop - do not by souvenirs from shops around the main tourist attractions. The prices there are guaranteed to be at double the actual cost.

Follow the lead of the locals and shop at regular shops for some excellent souvenir at down-to-earth prices. This is applicable for all your shopping requirements - food, information, entertainment and travel.

Carry something for entertainment - even if you have the best planned vacation schedule, there will be sometime when you would find it dull.

Carry something to keep you entertained during these times such as a bestseller, a MP3 player/ ipod, a camera for some fun shooting, etc.

Have you ever thought about including a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is valuable and everything. Nevertheless think of if you added some great images or video clips to give your posts more, „pop“! Your content is excellent but with images and videos, this site could certainly be one of the very best in its niche. Fantastic blog!

It is specifically the difference in between the primary popular media and information sites. The articles or blog posts are nicely published and not corrected by an editor was. That is the cause why I enjoy to search for blogs. The responses are generally incredibly unique, we could all use a lot more enjoyment reading. Please go on like this, it's worth.

An interesting discussion is worth comment. I think that you should write more on this topic, it might not be a taboo subject but generally people are not enough to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers
